Keep Fundraising!

Thank you for participating in our 2020 Annual Fundraising Campaign and Benefit Concert. Though our concert has been postponed for now, we encourage you to continue fundraising for your charities. If you haven’t yet set up your personal fundraising page, please watch the “How-To” videos below.

Your regular donors have come to expect this as the season to give and we don’t want these unusual circumstances to change that. We suggest that you send your soliciting emails with a note regarding the delay of our concert, but not the delay of your charity’s need in a time of stress for all organizations.

Keep Practicing!

Hold on to your music while we wait to see when rehearsals will resume. Click on the buttons near the bottom of this page to access music videos and other resources you may use to follow along with your sheet music.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know what other information and assets you could use to help make your participation in our chorus easier and more rewarding.

Read instructions for "Creating Your SFA Fundraising Page"

This step-by-step guide is intended for both new and returning members. Follow these steps to create your 2020 SFA Personal Fundraising Page.

Step 1: Visit our online fundraising site located at give.classy.org/sfa2020

Step 2: Click on the “BECOME A FUNDRAISER” button.

Step 3: Click on “AS AN INDIVIDUAL”. If you are joining or creating a team, click the appropriate icon.

Step 4: If you are new to SFA and have never set up an account with us, please click on “CREATE AN ACCOUNT”. If you have raised money with SFA in past years, click on “LOG IN”.

Step 5: Enter your email address and a password as per the instructions. It is very important that you jot down and remember your password. To ensure that you have entered your password correctly, click on the “Show” box to see your password. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive. Click “NEXT”.

Step 6: Enter your first and last name then click “SIGN UP”.

Step 7: Set your fundraising goal. By default, we have entered $500.00 but you can change this to any amount you feel comfortable with. This can be changed later if you’re not sure now.

Step 8: Enter your page’s headline. This can be up to 255 characters in length and can be changed later so, for now, just put in something that relates to you or your charity.

Step 9: Set your page’s short URL. This step is optional and can be added or changed later. A short URL simply makes it easier to share and access your fundraising page. For example, SFA’s short URL is give.classy.org/sfa2020 which is much easier to remember than the default URL that is created by Classy automatically.

Click “FINISH” when you are ready to proceed.

Step 10: Click the picture icon to upload your photo. Follow the instructions to crop and resize your picture if necessary. Alternatively, you can skip this step by clicking “CONTINUE”.

Click “SAVE” and that’s it! You’ve successfully created your fundraising page.

Be sure to read “Managing Your SFA Fundraising Page” to learn how to edit your story, change your fundraising amount, change your photo, and much more.

Step 1: Visit our online fundraising site located at give.classy.org/sfa2020

Step 2: Click on the “LOGIN” link in the upper right corner of the page.

Step 3: Enter the email and password you used to create your page and click “LOGIN”.

NOTE: If you’ve forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot password?” link to initiate a password reset. Enter your email and click “Send” to receive an email with a reset code and link. Please be sure to check your spam box if you don’t see the email after a bit.

Step 4: Assuming you’ve successfully logged in, click on the “Go to…” box in the upper righthand corner of the page and select your fundraising page from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: To edit your story, click on the “MANAGE” button at the top right of the page.

Step 6: On the next page, click on the “STORY” tab.

Step 7: Next, scroll down the page until you see a box containing your story text. Click inside the box to start editing the text. Use the toolbar at the bottom of the box to bold, underline, insert pictures and video, and add hyperlinks. Editing is similar to using a word processor.

Step 8: IMPORTANT: At minimum, there are three things you need to change to personalize your fundraising story.

  1. Enter the name of the charity you are raising money for in the space provided.
  2. Write a paragraph or two about your charity (optional, but encouraged).
  3. Add YOUR SFA box office code so you can receive credit for tickets purchased.

Step 9: MOST IMPORTANTLY: Once you are done with your edits, click the “SAVE” button located below the editing area. Depending on the size of your screen, you may need to scroll down to see the “SAVE” button.

Step 10: To exit editing mode and to see what your page will look like, click the “VIEW” button at the top right of the page. Click the profile icon at the top right of the page to log out.

Please watch our “Managing Your SFA Fundraising Page” instructional video to learn more about how to edit, share, and manage your page.
